1. Press button3 and press button 10 when start to use this EYE MASTER.

After press button 3 Led 6 should flash if the Battery is OK. The emitter will continue to operate for 3 hours and then turn off the power.

After press button 10 Speaker 13 should make a short sound if the Battery is OK. If the receiver of Pen Container 2 does not receive the signals sent by the emitter then the receiver will continue to operate for 1 hour and automatically turn off the receiver’s power. (If the emitter 1 is put inside of the Pen Container 2 or the emitter 1 turns off power then the receiver will not receive any signal sent by the emitter.)

2. Place the pen container at the front of the book (straight at user’s front) as Fig 2.

3. Wear head belt with emitter at front of user’s forehead. The head belt should be horizontal on the head as Fig 2.

4. Now the eye master is operating as Fig 3. If the user’s eyes is too close to the book (pen container), the pen container will continue to make short sounds until the user’s eyes move away to the setting distance.

User Setting:

Eye Master 101: There are 4 setting ranges as 32 cm, 36 cm, 40 cm and 44 cm. Press Range button 9. The setting distance will be 32 cm if there is one short sound; The setting distance will be 36 cm (the distance between the book and the user’s eyes is about 32 cm) if there are two short sounds; The setting distance will be 40 cm if there are three short sounds and the setting distance will be 44 cm if there are four short sounds. The setting distance is 36 cm when put the receiver’s battery on.

 

Use range:

Use range is related to the angle between the emitter’s emitting angle and the receiver’s receiving angle as Fig 4 and Fig 11. The green part is receiving range. The angle is from 15°to 75°.

Warrantee:

The warrantee time is 1 year from the purchase date. It will be invalid if damaged by accident.

 

Change battery:

1. When press button 3 if Led 6 does not flash then the emitter’s battery should be changed. If want to change the battery then first take the emitter out from the head belt. Put thumb on the battery cover 8’s triangle. Push the  cover out as indicated by the arrow as Fig 5. Put new battery (type: CR1616) in as Fig 6. The battery negative side is down. Finally put the battery cover 8 back and insert it into head belt.

 

2. When press button 10 if there is no sound then the receiver’s battery should be changed. If want to change the battery then first take put thumb on the battery cover 14’s triangle. Push the  cover out as indicated by the arrow as Fig 7. Put new batteries (type: AA) in as Fig 8 (Careful with positive and negative of the batteries). Finally put the battery cover 14 back.

Battery life: 2 months  (This all depends on daily usage.  Assume continuous 3 hours a day)

 

Note:

1.  Avoid to use the Eye Master under intensive light. It is not good for eyes too.

2. The use range will be largest if the emitter is align to the receiver when the use’s eyes are too close to the book.  If the direction is not align then the range will be smaller.

The emitter’s direction is as the green arrow in Fig 9.

The receiver’s direction is as the green arrow in Fig 10.

 

When the use’s eyes are too close to the book, the emitter’s direction and receiver’s direction are shown as Fig 11 in normal condition.

Wrong way:

Fig 12 is not right position of head belt. It will reduce the use range.

Fig 13 is not good position too. The pen container is far away.

Fig 14 is not good position too. The pen container is not in the middle.

Fig 15 is not good position too. The receiver’s direction of the pen container is not aligning.
